| Distilled Water Networks | |
This illustration shows a typical small network in which a Pure Water C-50, located in a mechanical room, is networked to a number of point-of-use coolers around the office.
Networks can be small or very large depending on the application. A network is customized and can be configured as a “Vertical Network” or a “Horizontal Network”. In actuality a network has both horizontal and vertical characteristics.
The St. Moritz Luxury Apartment complex is a case at point. This new high-rise apartment building in New Jersey has a Pure Water C-630 system in the upper mechanical room. This system provides pure and secure water to more than 225 apartments on 25 floors. No bottled water deliveries here, and the tenants are very happy.
Horizontal Networks
In this example, a horizontal network has been established to feed more than 55 drinking water dispensers throughout a 1.4 million square feet Toys 'R' Us warehouse in Southern California. This facility houses close to 1,000 employees at the peak period. Because security is tight, management elected to go with a Pure Water C-630 networked system. This system provides drinking water to coolers throughout the facility. Furthermore, applications like this can also supply water to the ice-maker, vending machines and the food preparation and service area. The payout on this project was very quick compared to purchasing bottled water, with all the security, handling and management ramifications that delivered bottled water involves. |
