About Our Distillers for the Home, Business & Institutions
Our home-distillers range from small batch-type counter-top units suitable for a couple or a small family, to large complete, fully-automatic units for active families. Steam-distilled water can be dispensed from most distillers manually, or via an internal pump which is activated at the faucet or refrigerator. Residential distillers are appliances. Our units have stainless steel interiors and exteriors. They are very durable and with proper care will last you for a generation or more. Most units are connected to the water line and, as distilled water is removed from the storage tank produces water automatically. Commercial distillers can be workhorses, frequently operating almost continuously. Recently, we determined that one of our systems in a dental office in the Cleveland Ohio area had logged more than 27,000 hours of operation. In that time it had produced over 13,000 gallons of water. This unit has been operating almost 24 hours a day, non-stop for more than 4 years. Commercial distillation systems can be stand-alone units or more complex networked systems. Whether you want to find a less expensive alternative to your bottled water program or need a distiller for very specific uses, there’s a Pure Water system for your needs. Distillers require occasional maintenance. This can typically be done by the owner or operator, although many of our Distributors offer this service inexpensively. Many Pure Water distillers have been operating for more than a quarter of a Century. We would be happy to answer any questions you have about any of our products.
